Ever since the first A8 graced the world’s roads in 1994, the range-topping Audi’s body has been made from lighter, but more expensive, aluminium rather than steel. Today at the New York Auto Show the Audi R8 V10 was declared 2010 World Performance Car. The other two finalists were Ferrari California and the Porsche 911 GT3.
